Would you like to:
Feel more confident as a parent?
Have more fun parenting?
Have more energy left at the end of the day?

How do I:
Get them out of bed in time to catch the bus?
Stop my kids from bickering and fighting?
Get my children to help with the chores without Argument?

Is there a way to:
Discipline my toddler in public without a scene?
Get my teenage daughter to come home on time?
Get him to stop spitting his peas and whining?

The resources for parenting found in this web site are designed to equip you with practical skills that can be used immediately to help with these questions and many other day-to-day parenting frustrations. They balance the two crucial elements of all good parenting approaches. They (1) support and deepen your connection with your child, while at the same time helping you (2) set reasonable, and enforceable limits in loving ways. It takes both to teach your child lasting responsible behavior.

Not a parent? Other services Michael provides:
Michael works with lots of people other than parents. From couples and single adults, to children and teens, Michael provides skillful, collaborative approaches to counseling aimed at creating an approach to life that is satisfying (or even more satisfying). The same kind of therapy doesn’t work similarly for everyone. Michael is able to provide counseling and therapy that ranges from more in-depth, emotion-focused approaches to brief, practical approaches. Michael will work with you to tailor an approach that fits your needs. Please see our Private Practice page.

Note: Becoming a Love and Logic Parent is a six week course developed by the Cline/Fay Institute. All classes referred to on the website are facilitated by Michael Gorsline, M.A.
